From Thursday January 28th to Thursday February 4th I will be at the Nuvango Gallery at 639 Queen St. W participating in their latest exhibit, Art Outright. I will be along side 3 other artists/designers working on projects in a collaborative space! Come hang out with me during store hours all week and be sure not to miss the closing reception featuring a Q&A.
If you've read any of my previous posts, you may have caught the one where I broke down my process of building a collection. This will be a very exciting week for me because for 7 days straight I will be focusing on building my Fall/Winter '16-17 collection, on display! I'm thrilled to be locked in and focused for a solid time period as well as be in a collective environment with other makers, not to mention being able to create in an inspiring space like the Nuvango Gallery. Nuvango has encouraged us to use this time for any project of our choice, so I will also be using this time to be experimental with up-cycled furs and vegetable dyes.
I will be sharing more in detail what I will be working on later this week!
